What's it like to be apart of a written story, what's it like to say every line perfectly with every response coming back without thought?
Weird question, I know, but there is someone who can answer that for you...
------
A man, by the name of Turner, John Turner, wrote a book in the early eighteen hundreds. This book, was about a group of people, supernatural people, with unmistakable gifts. It was the first book of supernatural teens known to man.
The characters, by the names of River, Tyme, Cray, and Water, stuck together to protect themselves from the claims of Witchcraft.
Many humans, had brought them into the court, predicting they were Witches and Wizards. Each of the teens, had alibies to tell.
This book, by the name of Gifted was the most famous document for years, and is now in a museum in Washington, D.C.
------
Now, it is year 2010, and a highschool group is learning about that book. They are taking a trip to the museum to see the real document, not a copy.
------
Late one night, a large thunderstorm had approached almost right over the huge museum, blowing shards of lightning all around it.
That very night, the book was altered.
------
In the next few hours, a guard caught a girl running around the museum before hours. She was dressed in a magenta colored, medieval timed dress, and she looked around the age of seventeen. The girl was thrown into the keeping area for the rest of the night.
Walking in the room where the documents were held, another guard saw the book was open, and he read through it.
It spoke of only three main characters, just Water, Tyme, and Cray-no River.
"What is going on here, did I fall asleep at my post?" the guard asked himself, reading over the pages. He shook his head and ran off to the guard who had caught the girl running around. He was holding her there when the guard found him. "Officer Geller, the book's been altered," the guard said, ghasping for air since he had ran all the way from one side of the large corridorrs to the other.
"What do you mean?" Officer Geller asked, giving the rookie a look as if to tell him he was crazy.
"Just come on!" the young guard said and pulled Officer Geller away from the girl locked in the chained up, metal room.
The two left in the direction of the book.
------
The girl, sitting on the concrete floor, looked around with crystalline blue eyes. "Where am I?" she asked her self, standing and brushing herself off, walking to the metal door and putting her hands on it. The female's hands glowed black, and the metal door bent almost in half, coming off of the hinges.
The girl looked around and stepped over the door, lighting her hands with black light lined with bright white, and mended the door. She put it back in the hinges and strode down the hall.
------
As opening time approached, the guards found their way back to the sealed room, panicking when they saw the girl was not there.
"Something's not right here," Officer Geller murmered, running down the hall in search of the girl.
The rookie worker found her first, but was curious.
"You, what is your name?" the young male asked the girl.
"River," the female replied. "My name is River," and with that, River picked up a quick run and ran out the now opening doors, getting stares from the incoming humans who were going to learn more about their history.
------
Many people had interperetted what they thought the characters of the book would look like, but the writer never shared his thoughts on the characters features, he left people to guess.
------
A few hours later, River met three people from a school group reading the book she had ecscaped from. Instincts kicking in, River ran away from them without a first word.
The teens of course, followed after, quite curious, leaving their group behind in search of the girl.
This, is where our story begins.
IXI Rules IXI
1. I and I alone am playing River.
2. Play the needed characters first.
3. You must use appropriate grammar, punctuation, capitalization, and use the best spelling as possible.
4.Detailed sentences, nothing like "I got up and walked out of bed."
5. Please speak in third person, if you don't know what that is, message me.
6.Romance is allowed, and barely intended.
7.Please, only two extra replies if I'm offline.
8.Have fun! I know there are alot, but I worked really, really hard on this.
So, you have four chances.
[]I can add more if needed.[]
Needed characters:
The three kids from the school group visiting the museum. []One female, two males, who wich will hide her and bring her back to their hometown[]
Popular kids in the group. []Prefferably mean[]
The two officers []Male[]
People trying to find River to turn her in for money. []Any gender[]
[]Genders even after that[]
Me:
River Turner
'River'
As old as the book, looks seventeen.
Written by John Turner.
Female.
River has long, milk chocolate colored hair with many amber colored highlights entertwined in it. It goes down just below the bottom of her shoulderblades and is naturally straight with silent, small waves here and there.
Her eyes are a crystalling blue with teal-green flecks.
Her skin is very pale, and she has no blemishes.
River has an old, Medieval timed accent that is very mistakeable for something like a Brittish accent, it rolls off her tounge easily.
::Her powers::
River has the ability to produce black light, rimmed with white from her hands and eyes. She can do whatever she wishes with the light, but rarely uses it unless she needs it. She can levitate, very much like flying, but it requires more concentration.
At the moment she is very confused. She has no idea what people will say to her when she says something to them, for her life was written down with ink and parchment.
[]If you read everything, post There's a party in my tummy, so yummy, so yummy.[]
